Dog travel crates provide your pet with a home away from home. They are sturdy, and protect your pet as well as the people around your pet and your surroundings. Pet travel crates make a safe place for an animal to retreat when you reach your destination, as well as providing comfortable and safe travel. Allow your pet to investigate and sleep in the travel crate while still at home, so it will be familiar to him.
A pet travel crate needs to be large enough for the animal to sit, stand and turn around in it. It becomes a safe haven for sleep and eating as well as a travel carrier. Ideally a pet travel crate can be safely secured in a car if that is how you are planning to travel with your pet. For airline travel a dog travel crate must meet the standards established by the International Air Transport Association. In addition to meeting size standards these pet travel crates must have ventilation on all sides, so that an animal will not suffocate and a water dish that can be filled from the outside of the crate.
Pet travel crates have accessories available, like new bottom liner pads and covers that are made of fabric and offer some comfort and home likeness. These are generally best suited for wire cage type crates. There are removable dividers for pet travel crates that are large but that need to serve tow animals.
Dog travel crates can be made of many things. Wood is a good substance, also aluminum crates or steel for attaching in a pickup bed. It is safe to say that there is a material for pet travel crates to suit every owner. Materials like plastic or wicker are also available for pet travel crates. You and your pet will be the best judge of the right pet travel crate for your family.
The idea of an Aluminum crate doesn’t sound as good of an idea to me. If something hit it, the sounds would be very loud and could scare the dog.
i really do agree with you
